USRCCNE Networking Evening
Current members and those interested in learning more about USRCCNE are invited to join us for a networking evening at the newly-opened "Cosmopolitan" downtown (financial district). We have a lot of exciting events coming up this year and this is a good opportunity to find out how you can participate. September 10, 2003 6-8pm at "Cosmopolitan", 33 Batterymarch Street, Boston.

Opportunities in the Russian Retail Market
In October, The US-Russia Chamber of Commerce of New England will present a comprehensive business development program focused on retail opportunities in Russia. Information tracks include an overview of the burgeoning consumer sector in Russia today, analysis of existing and emerging distribution channels, Trademark and Intellectual Property protection, and advice concerning Russian contract negotiations and execution. Companies already successfully established in the Russian consumer marketplace will present Case Studies of their experience. October 29, 2003 - Boston.

Chamber Announces Software Protocol at RUSSOFT Summit in St. Petersburg

At a packed press conference during the RUSSOFT Software Outsourcing Summit on June 27, the Protocol between the New England software associations and RUSSOFT was announced to the Russian media.  Speaking at the press conference were Daniel Satinsky representing the Chamber and a panel of Chamber members: Alexis Sukhavrev, President of Auriga, Inc.; Nick Puntikov, President of Star Software; and Tanya Sikorsky, Director of Marketing for Vested Development, Inc.

New England Software Associations and RUSSOFT Sign Protocol of Cooperation
Representatives of Protocol Signing Members  

On April 30, software and business associations from four New England states signed a Protocol of Agreement for Mutual Cooperation with RUSSOFT – National Software Development Association of Russia.  Motivated in part by U.S.-Russia government cooperation through the Russian American Business Dialogue and the ICT Roundtable process, the American and Russian organizations have committed themselves to examining how to increase mutual business opportunities for member companies in both countries.

Chamber Seeks Intern/Office Manager

The Chamber is seeking an intern/office manager to assist with organizational management, website maintenance and event organization.  We need someone who is able to commit 15-20 hours per month to the goals of the Chamber, work independently with general supervision and has computer/internet access. This is an unpaid position with a small stipend available.  For further information please contact either Dan Satinsky at satinsky@bea-associates.com or Renee Stillings at renee@alinga.com.
