Conference on Encouraging Young Researchers in Russia
Young researchers were the focus of a conference held April 22-23, 2010 in Voronezh, Russia as part of CRDF's Basic Research and Higher Education (BRHE) program, which transforms and reinvigorates the training of young scientists by strengthening the basic research capabilities of Russian universities.

"Leaked" Foreign Policy
Russian Newsweek published a "leaked" Foreign Ministry document (in Russian) that urges Russia to look West. Read a range of views (in English) from Russia Profile here and a review (in English) of how the Russian press covered the document here.
The General Plan for the Development of Moscow (in Russian only) outlines the capital's construction and development plans up until 2025. Critics are calling it a "death sentence" for the city's historical districts.

In 2007, President Vladimir Putin initiated the creation of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (Rusnano) to give Russia a leading position in the world market of nanotechnology products.
