Russia Downgraded But Investment Grows
The World Economic Forum reduced Russia's investment attractiveness rating by ten points this year. However, foreign companies are still planning massive increases in their investments in Russia.
In large part, this is due to Russia's large and still underdeveloped markets, to easing restrictions to investing in "the provinces," Russia's declining inflation rates, and the fact that foreign businesses in Russia can grow by 20-200%, while in more developed countries, this figure rarely exceeds 5%.
