U.S.-Russia Business Council Luncheon
Briefing with FAS Administrator
Dear Council Members and Friends:
We are pleased to invite you to a luncheon briefing with Igor Artemyev, Head of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation, on April 13 at 12:30pm at the W Hotel in Washington, DC.
Mr. Artemyev and his delegation will be in Washington to meet with the U.S. Department of Justice, judges and other law enforcement agencies to discuss anti-corruption efforts such as combating fraud in the government procurement process.
Igor Artemyev has served as Head of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation since 2004. Previously, he headed the EPICenter-St. Petersburg economic and political research fund and served in the Russian State Duma, holding the positions of Vice Chairman of the Yabloko party and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Credit Organizations and Financial Markets. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Artemyev served as Deputy Governor of St. Petersburg and Chairman of the city government's Finance Committee.
Mr. Artemyev holds a degree in Biology from Leningrad State University and degree in Law from St. Petersburg State University.
