U.S.-Russia Business Council Luncheon
"Managing Risk in Russia: From Start-Ups to Mega Stores"

 

Dear Council Members and Friends:

 

We are pleased to invite you to a luncheon briefing in New York City on "Managing Risk in Russia: From Start-ups to Mega Stores," featuring a discussion with Lennart Dahlgren, former General Manager of IKEA Russia, and Frederick Andresen, Chairman of Prioritel Holdings and founder of Directnet Telecommunications (Moscow) on Thursday, February 10 at the offices of Chartis International at 180 Maiden Lane, 41st Floor, New York, NY.  Matthew Murray, the Chairman of the Center for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance will moderate.

 

The event will look at general risk management strategies that are relevant for any business in the Russian market, as well as draw on the extensive experience that Mr. Dahlgren brings as the former country manager of a multinational corporation investing in Russia and that Mr. Andresen brings as an experienced entrepreneur and founder of a Russian SME.

 

Randy Bregman, Partner at the law firm Salans, will begin the discussion with an overview of general risk management strategies essential to guide corporate operations in Russia.
